Oo is Season 2 on? What channel?

I have read the books but they're quite different - a bit... hmm... not sure how to phrase it. A bit quirkier maybe? A bit less dark and sexy? The books are slightly more humorous, slightly more chicklit and slightly less Six Feet Under. One other fairly big difference is that there are virtually no black characters in the books. Tara is white and Layfayette is a minor character who is fairly instantly killed off.

They're good though. Just a bit different in feeling. And yes, Eric does feature more and more

I'm watching Season 2 on the FX channel, Friday nights with catch up Sundays.

To be honest, I can tell that the books aren't my kind of read, as I've heard that the True Blood series is quite heavily 'adapted', but I would try one. I think the ideas work very well on screen though and it's the best vamp thing I've seen in a very long time.

I'm thinking the same now, JB...I love the darkness of the tv series. In fact, more darkness would be more appealing to me.

You might be able to find a 'watch again' option on FX, Flora.

I don't think I have FX - we only have freeview.

Might have to wait for BBC2 to catch up - sob.

My other half came home with the box set last night.
Am drooling at the very thought.

Yes, more darkness!

I can't wait till my set arrives. I never know what I'm doing from one minute to the next so I keep missing out on juicy chunks.
