My husband and eldest saw it and loved it.

Anyone watch that Justin Collins show Sat night, where he tracked down the original cast - some very interesting revelations.

I can't WAIT to see this movie. I'm almost hopping on one foot.

I watched Star Trek Nemesis on the weekend, and the plot was rubbish - hoping for a better screenplay with this one.

Nemesis was crud. As was Insurrection. Apparently, you get one decent Star Trek movie in every three, so we're due one.

They have really tried to reboot a tired old franchise so it'll be interesting to see what they've come up with. For my money, it'll be great just to watch Kirk and co running around without zimmerframes!

I keep meaning to trawl through this internet thing to see if the rumours are right about Kirk's final line in the last episode of the Star Trek TV series. Shatner is so amazingly cheesy that it might just be true.

I love him in Miss Congeniality.

He's written a fair bit of sci-fi too. Including a Star Trek novel where no, he didn't die, and yes, he is still captain of the Enterprise and every bit as thrilling as The Next Generation pretenders, thank you very much.

As long as they don't meet God this time, I'll be happy.

And, yes, I unreservedly loved the new film. Not to give anything away (for those who have yet to see it) it looks terrific and the casting, in my opinion, is breathtaking…
