I like her as a character - enormously - but I know that I would never be friends with her! [If she was this age now and er, she wasn't fictional :] That sounds barmy. There is just an odd coldness about her.

The second series of Damages is just as brilliant in my view. Hope you get to catch up with it sometime, Jem.

No I would never be friends with her. I would like to think I could be friends with Peggy but not Joan either. I suspect Joan just doesn't do friendship.

Oh same here. Wonderful pneumatic Joan, with her fabulous pointy boobs, is such a brilliant character though. Defitely a 'man's woman'.. yeuch!
