There was so much wrong with this film that I'm posting my remarks as a review.

But, Sheila, why did you go? Life really is too short!

I just like films so much that even bad ones have their attraction, and this one made me laugh at times. Besides, I can't always tell in advance and sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. Not to mention this agreement I have with my partner that we take turns to choose.

What made me and my daughter laugh is the trailer where you get Americans trying to say "Fyurrrrrr - errrrrr" for Fuhrer.

Yes, that was good. The glass eye was the best bit, though. I hoped Cruise was going to get a false hand like that guy in 'Allo, 'Allo'.

Yes, there was a reviewer on the late night Friday thing who asked how she couldn't be expected to laugh when there are two comedians playing in this and someone actually does say "I'll say this only once." !!

One of them was Eddie Izzard. Those tight collars made a few of them look like Eddie Izzard, though. Terence Stamp changed into a suit at one point late on, when it all started uravelling. He said he thought it was more formal, but it looked a lot more comfortable.
In another laughable scene we were supposed to believe Crusie made a quick shirt-change, on his own, doing up all those buttons with only two fingers and a thumb on one hand, plus putting a bomb in a slippery suit-case.
One thing I did learn. It was so boring, watching all these look-alikes having conversations I couldn't understand, that I had time to examine the uniforms - noticing a strange line of what looked like loose threads on the left side of the chest, for instance. After a while I realised they must be loops for attaching medals! So there you are - you can learn something from even a bad film.
