They've done you proud, with a handscome full-page spread illustrated with miniature magazine covers, and headed 'Serial Killers'. Still, they should have let you know.

I'm sure you won't mention my name. I don't want to be struck off the subscribers' list as a trouble-maker.I'm always putting my foot in it, but this time I'm innocent.

Oh, good - they kept my title. Guddun, innit? No it's fine. He says he's been having trouble with his mail and thought he'd already let me know he'd be using it but the only mail I go was one to say thanks for submitting it and he'd read and get back to me. Is there any mention of it on the cover? I'm wondering if Casey can do a link to it for Strictly Writing.

It's a good thing I keep my eyes open, is all I can say. Yes, there's picture of a Woman's Weekly cover on the front page of Writers News, with a photo of 'Julie Walters, super trooper' on it. The legend underneath reads:

'Short story markets are notoriously over-subscribed, but you might be able to find a home for your serial fiction. Serial success Geraldine Ryan explains how to structure your stories, page 32.'
