Just watched this on DVD - belated Father's Day prezzie from kids. Really intelligent drama with great performances from Mr Clooney, Tilda Swinton et al.

I found it too depressing to watch all the way through and skipped to the end. The end was good.

Well, that's what I thought, too, Jem, but he managed it. It was too slow - a bit like Syriana: that was another depressing film mainly because it was all theme and no decernable plot.
