I think it's Waltzing with Bashir. I hope I'll get to see it.

Mark was utterly gorgeous, with some super suits, and to my mind should have been billed above the other two. Yes, he should have been Bond. A much better film than Syriana, and easier plot to follow with some excellent photography. Ridley Scott, of course. You always knew where you were and there was loads of supense.

Oh, was it good then? I quite liked Syriana. And yes, now you jog my memory, it is Waltzing with Bashir. You never did say if you'd seen Take Care of My Cat.

No, I'd like to see the Hold My Cat one.

Not quite the same, I agree, but it kind of implied I hadn't seen it. If it's not too recent I can get it from sofa.cinema.

I've written a short blog-piece about Body of Lies, which I'll be posting shortly. I'd be interested to hear about Waltzing with Bashir which has been topping the citics list in Time Out for the past few weeks.

Sheila, can you post a link to your blog?

Jem, you can click on the orange tap towards the top of this page - the one that says WW Blogs. You need to trawl down to find 'Here's one for a wet Friday', and click on 'Read full post' at the bottom of the extract.

Went to see 'Four Christmases' yesterday - the guy playing opposite Reese Witherspoon was funny, and the portrayal of US family excesses was interesting, but I couldn't really recommend it if you have something better to do.

Thanks, Sheila. I'll be giving that one a wide berth! AM about to bok tickets for It's A Wonderful Life a couple of days before Xmas. Although we have the DVD you can't beat the big screen can you?

I think that's my husband's favourite, apart from the one where James Stewart talks to the giant rabbit. Maybe I should indulge him and go along -as it's Christmas.

Oh - just came to this late - The Prestige is one of my all time favourites - I've watched it about four times and got quite obsessive at one point, but then I was imagining Hugh Jackman as a character in my book. Great twist. Great film.
