I think David Van Day was totty in his time! I remember Dollar: "Mirror Mirror Mon A'mour, tell me what I'm waiting for ..."
-
Oh for goodness sake! Could they have got crapper 'celebrities' if they tried!!!!
<Added>
I bet DVD will have amusing hair though.
-
Timmy Mallet? Noooo!!
I used to love Wacaday, but seriously...
-
Yeah, I used to watch that with my oldest two. I remember my big gitl wwho will be 26 soon, used to sing ..... "We........................wadawake!' Aaw!!!
<Added>
Big Gitl is not the Austrian au pair but my Big Girl.
-
I read your typo as 'I watched that with my big git' then Jem!!! and had to do a double take...
Which did prompt an LOL!!
-
The Big Git may have been there too. I blame these eco bulbs. Can't read an effin thing!

Oh dear. Silksy is growing on me.

I felt a little sorry for him (RKS) last night because he so obviously wanted to get all the stars come what may but had that little horror cackling and shrieking at him. And the bench press thing was the pits.
I wonder who'll be up for the next challenge? I should imagine the little horror himself. I do hope so.
-
Ooh and isn't DVD completely ghastly?
Thought TM was OK until he did the sniggering and yes, I'm almost warming to 'Silksy' too!
-
Oh, it's very rare that I laugh out loud, but am just working my through a recording of last night's tour-de-force - 'Silksie's' trouser-snake was...well, indescribable. And Brian Paddick's rather sweet crush on Simon-from-Blue who's offered to sing at his wedding. Best of all, George Takei: he doesn't talk, he Enunciates and Begins Everything He Says With Capital Letters.
I'm lovin' it!

George talking cockney was brilliant.

And talking 'posh' - 'aaaair, haaaair-laaaair.'

I found A and D to be particularly funny last night too...
-
They have such a great sense of timing, don't they?
And the knack of making a script seem spontaneous. I wonder if they write their own material?

George, doing 50 press-ups at 71, yikes! An example to us all.
