I'm not sure about Esther. I do like her more than I thought I would, but I never trust that, 'Everyone is so lovely' thing. I always think it's really insincere.
I think the final three will be Martina, Joe and George.
Caroline, how can you not like Martina? The woman's a legend!

I've heard some terrible tales about esther, coming from Cambridge. But they may well all be anti-feminist and anti-semitic so I take them with a pinch of salt.

Anyway, Martina should win easily. She's been eating bush tucker for years.
Well, I'm just talking about everything she did for women's sport. Putting up the prize money, beating the men, all that stuff. She changed 'ladies' tennis' to women's tennis. She is a historical figure. She is a great sportswoman. Er - that's why.
I too am very surprised by Nicola and like her rather more than I did on the first day. Do you think Dani was showing sour grapes at losing?
I didn't want to watch the bug eating contest but had to as hubby thought it was so hilarious. Even though I sat with my head in my jumper I actually gagged myself - vile, vile, vile. I would rather eat rice and beans.
Well, OK, I accept all that and admit that she is an amazing sportswoman. She's just a bit dour though. Can't imagine her being someone you'd have a laugh, or any decent conversation with in real life though.
I feel guilty now. Hereby resolve to try AND LIKE MARTINA!!!!
She has also - twice, if I'm not mistaken - described herself as the 'greatest living sportsperson'. I know it's very English of me to dislike that, but well....

Sharon, agree that the bug eating was truly disgusting...
