Just came back from swimming and my fiend told me she delivered a Remembrance Day sermon ! She says the Bishop of London will be officionating on the 19th but the priests go along with their new or re-licencing readers. There are about 250 candidates alone, so should be a big 'do'. Lots of atmosphere, I should think.

Wow, that's quite something. St Paul's is great when it's full, though the acoustics are terrible. I should think they all thank goodness for microphones.

Anyone who's thinking of coming to the Goldsmiths reading, please note that the date has changed. It is actually Wednesday 3rd December, still at 5pm.

Emma, hope all went well in Peckham last night. Thought of you when out on the razzle at St Paul's, but never mind, terrifically topical sermon by the Bishop of London and there were photo calls afterwards (must update blog).
I'm still hoping to make changed date at Goldsmiths. Just been reading 'Time Out', and turned to book section and 'Literary Events' listings. I see entries are free and all they require is 12 days notice before publication. Has your agent sent one in? You've just about got time.
