Is anyone going to watch this? It starts Sunday, E4, and is on every night next week.
I think Davina Mccall is involved and it is a new Big Brother but fictional - whilst they are inside a virus or something takes hold on the outside world and turns everyone into zombies, whilst they remain ignorant - until the first eviction, i suppose.
It sounds great!

Casey I'll definitely be watching this. I'm a huge fan of Charlie Brooker who writes for The Guardian. He's hilarious.

Yup, me too. But I expect you knew that, jem

Caroline, looks like we're following each other round the forums today. I'm too knackered to do anything else. Keep saying I should get dressed but then I think, no.
-
I'm not stalking you, I promise. I'm having a day that's entirely dependent on other people to get anything done. I'm almost spontaneously combusting with it all and consequently spending too much time on here!
-
I get days like that - waiting for yays or nays over a serial proposal. I usually do loads of housework or go to the cinema to get me away from checking my email every thirty seconds.
-
I thought this was fab! And wasn't Davina's acting brilliant, especially when she keeled over 'dead'!
Quite scarey too, and i'm speaking as a fan of zombie films.

Isn't BB full of zombies anyway? What's the diff?

I thought it was entertaining enough. I preferred the relationship bits and the bits inside the house to the actual zombies, who never do a thing for me other than make me laugh. I loved the up-himself producer.
If you want frightening, Casey, then go out and buy the DVD of The Orphanage. Now that is scarey and very sad too. I always think with Davina that she's acting anyway, don't you, so this must have been a walk in the park for her.
Must say I felt a bit whoozy seeing so many ex- BB housemates all in one room. Was that Ziggy? (I think he was called Ziggy?)
-
LOL, JB!
Ooh, i love a good horror, Jem, i'll look out for that. I agree, a lot of zombie films make me laugh, that's part of their charm! But i did jump a few times last night.
Yeh, that was Ziggy, and Brian...

The Orphanage isn't really horror. It's a Spanish film produced by the guy who directed 'Pan's Labyrinth' so it has all the scarey bits but underlying it there's a story - I think anyway - of mourning for lost children. Absolutely brilliant!
-
I'm afraid i'm more of a blood and guts girl, Jem! Give me the shadow of a raised knife and I'm happy...
Mind you, worst worst film i've watched lately was a remake of The Hitcher with Sean Bean, i mean, i do like a bit backstory, anything really so that i can connect with the characters, but this had nothing - absolutely zilch. It literally was just a guy hitcher chasing two kids.

Sigh...I tire of myself sometimes.
Too wimpy to watch Dexter, and now, after considering it seriously, I find I am too wimpy to watch the zombies. It's terrible being me, sometimes...
Sam, why can't I be all gung-ho and un-frightenable like you?
-
*chuckle*. I have to admit, Davina was a bit scarey, sucking up those intestines

What have Ibeen missing? SOunds great - I must get The Orphanage, Jem. There was another of his films based in an orphanage but older - must try to remember what it was called - was it The Devil's Backbone? Very good anyway.
