Director: Olivier Assayas Origin: France Year: 2008 Duration: 102m Starring: Jeremie Renier, Charles Berling, Juliette Binoche

A very slow moving, very French film about a family having to decide what to do with a priceless private art collection. Disagreement abounds. It's a story full of undercurrents - things not said and things kept hidden, with a twist at the end that explains just what made the matriarch tick. Juliette Binoche is stunning as the daughter but all the cast is good. beautifully observed and played, I'd recommend it.
