Hi.  Am asking for some advice here.  Would very much like to become as full member but am having great difficulty logging onto Paypal - it automatically seems to assume live in America as it asked for my state and zip code!  Could pay by cheque but for some weird reason my printer won't print off the form that is required.  Spooky - well it is nearly Halloween.

What can I do!  Would hate to miss out on your expertise.

 

Hi, yes, make sure it's paypal uk, let us know if that doesn't work!

Thanks for your help.  Went on the next day and Paypal accepted me with no problems.   To be honest I think it was because before I used Google Chrome and the next time I chose Mozilla.  Think Chrome is having some problems at present.

I would strongly recommend anyone living here, in the UK, to use the co.uk version, not the US com version.
I lived abroad and joined the com version. When I moved back to the UK, using the com became so problematic I ended up deleting the account.
Every time I contacted Paypal, they sent me a pre-formatted reply, and made no attempt to solve the problem.
Poor. Very poor.

Not a fan of Paypal myself but sometimes it seems you can't avoid it!

Not wishing to be contentious here, but these days it seems to me the younger generation (maybe more) can't do without:

* phone
* facebook and social media
* junk food
* Paypal?

I enjoyed living in the 70s and 80s when people engaged with each other, face to face, and looked where they were going.
