I seem to have successfully uploaded my photo (and been back and tried it again) to the showcase but it's not showing even in my private view. Any ideas?

My best guess is that the filename is your problem - the & sign could be confusing any number of things - try renaming it and then try again.

Thanks everyone and sorry for the fuss. The prize goes to Gaius: I'm laughing now as it hadn't occurred to me that the nerdy title I'd given it in the process of cutting it down to a size that the system would take would actually show up (even when my photo didn't). At least you've demonstrated what a wonderfully supportive gang you are!
