  • How to insert quotations when giving feedback
by TessaF at 22:46 on 09 January 2012
    Hi there

I wonder if anyone could tell me how to add a quotation box when giving feedback? There do seem to be some symbols on the side of the 'Post a new topic' box but I still don't understand how to do it (I am rather underskilled in this department).

    Thank you

    Hi Tessa

I recently gave the following info to another WWer and it worked, so I hope it makes enough sense:

Copy the text you want to quote (Ctrl C) and then click reply. Above the reply box you will see symbols. If you want quotes, click the quote box " ".

    Two boxes will appear - [ quote ] [ /quote ]

Place your cursor in between the ] [ and paste your text.

You can do this with italics, bold, etc.

You can also do it the other way round, by pasting the text you want to quote/italicise, etc. and then highlighting it and then clicking the relevant symbol.

    Does this make sense?
