    Hi

First of all, this is a lovely site and I decided to join as a community member.

I think I have sent off £20.00 to the Admin.

I have some difficulty with using things like Paypal and the technical aspects of sites. My wife does this kind of thing for me so I'm not blundering around annoying people by not being able to do such obvious things.

I have mailed Admin. to ask if they have received the payment but so far I haven't got a reply .

Is there something simple I should do to activate the
    membership ?

I would like to upgrade to full membership but the system's asking for another thirty five quid.

One reason I want to get this done is because I was testing out the critique system and posted an unedited comment. I was wanting to see what it looked like , thinking I could remove and edit, which I can't. There's a beautiful piece of work with my comments on the bottom, all positive but in first draft note form and it looks like bad graffiti at the bottom of her work and I can't edit it.

If I can't contact Admin, maybe because I'm doing something wrong with the system, is there any one here with the folk wisdom who can tell me what to do.

Hi. David Bruce is the person to WWamil about membership, but if you've posted a cheque off then probably best to wait a week or so because banks usually take 5-7 days to process cheques, plus a few days for the postman to deliver it. Community membership will probaby suffice for now, as it'll give you access to all the writing forums. Then see if you'd like to upgrade to give you access to the Jobs and Agents directories, when you need them.
As for Owner Edit on uploaded work, that's disabled while you're still a trial member. Once you're a member you'll find you can upload new work - the old upload will automatically be saved in your personal archive along with all the comments it's recieved, and you can set it to 'private', or be viewed by WWmembers.
If you've revised the work then it's best to upload it as a new upload rather than go into Owner Edit and swap it for the old work, as group members may assume they've commented on it already.
