I did actually want my name to be Firethorn but I filled out the Email address wrong and my name got sent to nowhere and is still out there. So I did it again and stuck an 'e' on it. I just gone and done the same thing earlier with load of images supposedly going to JPGetty's lot for perusal. Don't know where they went off to, might have ended up at The Guiness Factory , The place was in Dublin and I was looking at factory on the internet at the time.

You will get used to this, I hope - I am dyslexic in the sense that often I can not see errors on the page in front of me unless there is a big red line underneath. I might annoy some people but it is not my intention to do so and I will probably book myself in for intensive critique as that sounds so deep no one will get too wound up.

My occupation is a roofer and general outside worker, bricklaying pointing etc. Keep out of way of most people because I probably annoy them , especially officious ones in suits and ties that turn red at the bottom of cheeks with upwards spreading flush before I even say hello.

Have done some interesting stuff- John Ruskin wrote a letter to letter to a Sheffield laborer which contained the line " If I could dip my brush in the sky and paint with it"...I replied to his letter a hundred and fifty years later, from Sheffield, and I told the Tate Gallery in London "I reckon could do that" , so they said get on with it and I did and sold my stuff for me which was Ok.

I do get into art and selling it but the doing of it is a bit tedious especially when the sun is shining so in summer I don't do so much.

I have a near photographic visual memory and a huge reference of images and dates and painters and interrelated writers and everyone else connected with them . Please free to access it because it doesn't get used for much else. Say, like , if you want to know three red things interconnected in literature and art with thematic link -ask


I have set myself the challenge of writing a novel. Don't worry it will probably be highly visual, short and might end up as a long poem.
