  • What sort of writing for children course would you like - please advise!

    Hi everyone,
I've been discussing this in the Private Members' and I would really love to get some feedback from you if you have time.
I have a couple of children's books published and want to start running courses (privately, not through a college or uni) in 'Writing for Children'.
What I want to know is, what kind of a course would appeal to most people? I'm thinking an introductory level day school, to test the waters, then follow up with a longer course (e.g. 10 weeks, meeting for 2 hours per week).
Assuming you wqere interested in writing for children, would you be interested, for example, in a day school which took as its focus, how to write a good first three chapters of a children's book?
The discussion's here if you'd like to comment: thanks very much!
