this seems like a pretty OK site I was thinking about maybe uh participating. so, hello. I'm an archaeologist, but am putting that on hold for a bit to move to the most serene republic in march. I'm going to try teaching the daughters of aristocracy how to speak english. well anyway that's the plan. one day I would like to buy a dutch barge. I just finished reading that novel, tintin in the new world. it was great. I love tintin. my favourite sort of shoe is the semi-brogue. my favourite sort of tom is tom waits. this morning I tripped up while watching a helicopter.

I'm in the sort of middle of a children's novel about a boy haunted by the ghost of ted hughes. however, I am not great at plot, dialogue, characterization, etc. I thought maybe you folk could help. HERE GOES.

    Hello Settembrini

    I'm new here too.

What's your favourite Tom Waits song?

What's the most interesting thing you have ever dug up?

I used to work as teacher of English as a Foreign Language in the Czech Republic. I had to stop because I was terrible at it, and the students couldn't understand my accent.
