My name is Lucy and in Manchester. I like the look of your site and have signed for a one month to see how things go. I like writing short horror and fantasy fiction, I am also developing characters for a novel but the only thing is I am not sure what novel, or even if it is a horror or thriller. (I have plot ingredients for both. So I will just have to develop the set of characters and see what genre they eventually take me to.

One way to get the maximum benefit from the site is to comment on other member's work. You learn loads this way and it also works in an "I scratch your back/you scratch mine" sort of way. The more feedback you give, the more you will receive.

It can be quite daunting to comment, particularly when you first join. However, we were all new to the site at some stage, and as long as the comments are constructive, then they are always welcomed.
