  • Ghosting as a first project
    by Daryl48 at 21:08 on 21 November 2008
Hi there, I am a new trial member, and my first attempt at writing was a ghost job for a former villain. This project I started five years ago, and after nearly two years, hawked it around the publishers. I was lucky in that I had a champion in a top true crime writer, who thought it was good enough for a particular publisher. This company eventually declined to take it on but two men from a small company fought valiantly for it to be accepted. After another two years, I finally received a contract. My first job and I had it accepted for publication! This has been a dream come true for me, and for my next step, a couple of projects I started on, fell by the wayside. I still have a number of options available, it is just having the time to get the background information. One top ghost offers me any advice that I need. The only problem now is getting my second project properly off the ground.
