Having posted a fun entry earlier today which seems to have been gagged, I guess I had better go elsewhere to more liberal surroundings.

Long live freedom of expression but I doubt this post will stay here long and my ability to respond even less so.

We do like to let our hair down and have a bit of a laugh, GurnseyPete, but it tends to be restricted to the Lounge, while the rest of the WW site leans towards the serious side of writing.
If you'd prefer something more lightweight, I suggest you check out forums such as MyWritersCircle.

Pete, what do you mean by gagged? We would only remove work or posts that are libellous or likely to get us into legal trouble, or blatantly offensive...

I'm sorry your previous post was removed without explanation - you should have been sent an explanation of what happened. The reason it was removed is because it was promotional in nature, and so is against our TOS. To avoid the place getting cluttered with people advertising their sites or products we don't allow any such post I'm afraid.
