Hello
I've just joined this week and uploaded my first piece of work, called 'Happy Finnish'. It's taken from a book I'm writing, a humorous memoir on the trials and tribulations of dating in the 21st century.
I'm probably about halfway through it but I haven't done the first half. I'm writing sections and chapters as I think of them and hope to pull it all together at the end. As a result the writing I'll be uploading will be a bit random but should provide a feel of what I'm doing.
I've yet to join a group because Memoirs, Humour and Intimate (which my book is a combination of) all seem to be a bit dead at the moment. It's been suggested I join a fiction group as it's active but wonder if that might be unhelpful to others in that group.
I'd be delighted to hear any comments from anyone and also any advice on joining a group, if that's the most likely way to get some feedback, be it good or, er, constructive.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Justin
