Just wanted to introduce myself - I'm Kris. Long time lurker first time poster.

In fact I have been lurking for longer than I care to admit and have always found the site, and its members, to be extremely helpful. Which is why I have finally taken the plunge and joined, albeit as a trial member.

The other reason is that I have come to the point in my writing where some interaction with like minded people could be useful - I'll bring that up as a seperate topic, just wanted to show my face before my trial is up!

For the record - I have completed one novel, although three drafts later I am still tinkering, and am now looking to send it out to agents, and/or move on. My completed book is aimed at older children, although my next project is likely to be in the horror genre. I have never been published.

Favourite author - Stephen King. Currently reading, and enjoying, The Lovely Bones.
