I've just joined so I thought I should say hello, and that I'm really looking forward to getting to know everybody and getting a bit more creativity back into my life!

I've been writing for years, but job, life etc always seems to get in the way. I'm an English teacher, and that doesn't seem to help either-(you end up obsessed with spelling and punctuation!) I've been writing haiku for a few years and I'm bashing away at a couple of short stories and hoping that I can finally make a go of this. I've been really impressed by the stuff that I've read on the site, and hope to add something soon. Look forward to meeting you all,
