Can someone explain, where you would stand with selling rights of something you have uploaded onto the site for critique.
Does the fact that you have uploaded a story take away the first publishing rights?
Kind regards
Joe.

The general opinion is, not as long as when you uploaded it you made it so that only WW members could read it. Then it doesn't count as 'published' in that it's not publically available. It's only like circulating copies among your writers' circle, say.

Thanks Emma,
I take that to mean if I only upload stories into the groups that I am a member of then that's o.k.
It will not be counted as being published?

This is the equivalent of sharing your work in progress with a writers' circle. So not published, no - but it is usually wise to click that box, "visible to writewords members only"

Thanks Colin
It's nice to know
now I will tick that box
Kind regards
