I too am a newcomer but would just say - be encouraged!! You have had much more positive response than most from publishers....I am not in the childrens writing area myself so cant offer any advice there but keep going and well done

Just to add to this Crimson Petal ther is a new searchable Writers' and Artists' Yearbook Website.

In the email I got to tell me about it it states that the access code is inside the book.

I cannot find it but maybe it's worth contacting them to find out where in the book!

It would be much easier to just search for details of Childrens Agents rather than trawl through pages.

Ahh, is that the 2008 edition Emma. Mine is the 2007 and just has adverts!

I think it will be a brilliant resource, if I can get in!

I haven't actually had a look at the site yet, but anyone who does, it would be great to hear your experience of using it, compared to the book, and to more open-ended Googling and the like.
