    If I post a msg in a forum (in this case a Group forum), then I edit my msg to add something, then it shows as there being one reply, I am right that the reply is a reply from someone else and nothing to do with my added sentence?

    Only I've done just that and it shows one reply, yet I can't see a reply when I open the thread - only my seed msg with my edit (added bit).

    I find that too, deb. It seems to count anything added under 'Owner Edit' as a reply.

    <Added>

    I should add, ...only for the first entry on the thread. Normally the first entry is counted as zero, unless you add something to it.

    Thanks Naomi - that's really helpful and explains what has just happened!

    Now I know...

    I think what happens is, if you add something to your first message, it comes up as one reply, but then when someone else makes a reply, it still shows as one reply, then the next one brings it to two replies etc. (but owner edits after the first one aren't counted as replies)

    Yes, that's what I think happens too. It's only for that 0-1 moment.
