Please excuse this blatant piece of self-publicity. I am running a writing workshop at Chesterton Community College on Saturday December 7th between 10 - 4 and wonder if any of you know any closet scribblers among family, friends or colleagues who might be interested in spending a day flexing their writing muscles. The workshop will concentrate on developing characters and brainstorming a plot for the first draft a short story. Together we will address the issues of pace and setting, how and where to begin and end your story, writing dialogue and tips on improving your prose style. Come with paper and pens."
