Brilliant Dee. I remember reading some of it years ago and was hooked by it. Very atmospheric story. As others have said, this is the way to go. 70% of £2 is more than a lot of people are making on their commercial deals!
Okay, I'm confused. I read this last night (all of it!) and I honestly don't understand why it wasn't picked up by a UK publisher. IMHO, it's well-constructed and a good read, and I enjoyed it.

SATEOTW became THE DRAGON’S LEGANCY and was well received but too clichéd in concept to get taken on. So I kept the premise but rewrote the story from bottom up. This new version is totally different from the original except for the scene where Mason gets his fingers broke, I couldn’t resist keeping that. It’s now called SHADOWRAUGHT and I’ve just started seeking someone to publish it.
Although I’m trying the tradition publishing channels first, the idea of following your example does appeal, as the finishing touches to the synopsis are proving elusive and a perfect excuse for procrastination.
