The UK's first full-time course in Professional Writing - established 1999 - is taking applications for September 2007 entry. Offering the most affordable route to BA (Hons) and a range of options for aspiring writers, the course is located in Dartford, within easy travelling distance of Central London. Students study a range of writing skills and options with attention given in both years to teaching the skills required to submit work effectively in a range of professional situations and build writing careers. Former students now work in a range of related trades including journalism, exhibition design and marketing. Former and current students have also become published authors and seen other work - like radio plays - produced professionally.
