'CTJT has been re-launched as the College of Media and Publishing.

We have changed to a name that more accurately reflects what we do.

We are now the UK's biggest provider of distance learning courses in proofreading, journalism, writing and marketing.

Principal Cleland Thom explained: 'Our old name became increasingly irrelevant as we continued to outgrow our original vision.

'It was time for a change.'

We began in 2003 with one course and one student. See our first website

Since then, we have worked with more than 2,500 students in 100+ countries.

We were originally called Cleland Thom Journalism Training, as we only ran journalism courses.

We changed to CTJT in 2006, when we started running courses in other subjects.'
