'Have you completed a novel and need help making it better? I can help you.

I’m a Cambridge University graduate in English Literature with a background in the publishing industry (HarperCollins, United Agents). Now I work as a freelance editor, literary consultant and journalist. As a journalist, I write about books and literary-themed travel for newspapers and magazines, and I’m also a regular book critic for the Sunday Telegraph.

I offer two main types of service: 1) A feedback report that highlights issues within your manuscript and offers workable practical solutions 2) Manuscript editing that is tailor-made to your needs, whether that be proofreading, copy-editing or more indepth line-editing.

Over the last five years, authors I have worked with have gone on to secure agents, publish their books and win prizes (most recently, Finn Clarke, an author I worked with extensively in the early stages of her novel, won the Debut Dagger at the 2013 Crime Writer’s Association awards).
