'Big Crooked House was officially launched in January 2011, as a small independent publishing business, based in Suffolk, but also covering the entire UK.

The staff of BCH have both qualifications, skills and experience in several sectors ranging from Design and Illustration through to high level customer service, and close links to the book printing industry.

We created Big Crooked House for a number of reasons; the most important was to make the dream of publishing a book accessible to people from all walks of life, and budgets. Because at BCH we believe that everyone should have a chance to achieve their ambition, and if we can help to become a part of that, then all the better.'
