'Carillon publishes a wide range of poetry, from traditional forms to postmodern. What you will not find is “clunking” rhythm, clichéd rhyme or work so unformed that it is difficult to recognise it as poetry. I like to see good use of ordinary language in the creation of something that evokes a response. Poetry, like all art, is very much a matter of personal taste. Sadly, as mentioned elsewhere, poets tend to take sides to the extent that many will not entertain anything beyond their own preconceptions. I like to think that Carillon is more open.'
