'Jane Turnbull's literary agency was established 25 years ago and offers authors friendly, supportive and professional representation. Jane was rights director of two major publishing houses - Hamish Hamilton and Heinemann - before setting up her agency in 1987 so understands both sides of the business. She has a distinguished list of authors and specialises in high quality fiction and non-fiction that covers a very broad spectrum - from natural history, biography, history, current affairs and TV tie-ins to humour, lifestyle and gardening. Very occasionally fiction for older children is taken on, but no science fiction/fantasy or 'misery memoirs'. Journalism is represented for existing clients only.'
