Wish I was having you smile at me
when things don't go as planned
always knew you was there
to share and understand.

Now faith in all I do
will never be the same
at least I know,that loving you
was never,ever in vain.

A nice little piece, reminding us how the best in life is our interaction with others.
Is the was in "knew you was there" an intended colloquial?

Tacit agreements bind us more powerfully than any contract to share the moments of each day with those we love. Then more than ritual, sharing becomes life itself, as if there can be nothing else, till loss disrupts and bids us learn anew.
