I do not know the quintessence of your desire, I can only hypothesise.
If you nominate silence you forgo the duet, if you skip the rendezvous you deny the tryst of auras.
'Only those, who are willing to risk, not knowing the consequences, are truly free.' This, I do know.

"the tryst of auras" Spellbinding, Walrus! What a beautiful combination of words, and a delightful combination of concepts. Thank you for bringing literary joy to my day! literati

Absolutely adored this poem Bob! It is both exquisite and eloquent with such power for a relatively small piece. The quote is fantastic and one of my favourites which, strangely, I read yesterday! It's so uncanny to find it in your poem today. It fits perfectly!
Superb!

walrus, ditto to literati's comments "beautiful combination of words' there is a very powerful simplicity to this poem that creates something quite stunning-and "only those willing to risk...are truly free" oh so so true! a divenely thought up piece

Beautiful, Christina. I keep returning to this and pondering (and finding my self sighing). I love it, especially the middle stanza.

RED.. A woman in love..or one that tantalize another.
MMMMMA womans poem.
Captivate..take them hostage.. then take the risk.
You have one life,if you never go for it, you lose it.
You only have one love in life.
Thats a grand passion, lose that and you lose all.
Then you walk alone in life.

This is... lovely. It's sorta vulnerable, asking someone else to take the risk for you, but fear that they will turn you down... I loved 'the tryst of auras,' which is in a marvellously phrased stanza.
Thanks for excellence!

Literati, Em, Laura, Joanie, Alice, James, thank you so much. I am really pleased you enjoyed this one. Em, still trying to find where the quote came from!
Comments, as always, much appreciated, thanks again.
