Tell me how beautiful I am.
Tell the world how beautiful I am.
Make them love me through your words,
paint a picture of my perfection -
truth can have amnesiac selection.

Tell me it will work.
Tell me this love is more,
more than any other ever before.
Tell me the chase was worth it -
the wasps found their honeyed target.

Assuage my conscience
pet me, stroke me.
Make me goddess.

Dorothy,welcome to WW.
Great title for an unusual poem. I like something that is different, this was it.
Felt like saying at the end,
tell me,tellme,tell me.

Well done.

xx Alice
