Cosmic Winter

the winter rose burns
broken Maple slates tile the lawn
and the sun gutters,

a kiss forms in deep space
earth's black cheek turned
stardust blasting the moon.

I really liked this- it's so simple and well phrased, you don't think to question it, only to accept and enjoy what is said- you just sit, and savour, and think '...yes.'
Do y'know what I mean? You just roll it round in your head.

Bye!
