Virus Versus
Today flu virus washed my brain with mud then wrote this.
Tomorrow drugs will numb my nerves clean of writing anything.
Soon I will wish for poetry's sweet plague & the death of all antidotes.

I've had the flu, and pneumonia, but the worst virus of all is the poetry bug, when it gets you, you don't want to be cured of it. Lovely way of expressing this thought John.

"Where did you catch poetry?"
At Love at first sight,
second alley on the left, hope I never get cured! Exactly puts into words the way I feel; excellent!!

I like this John, a very cool poem! I wonder where you do catch it, is it an innate or learned skill/craft? I hope you don't get better soon! Nice works John.
Thanks
Don

heaven's halo is yawning,
slowly waking, light is breaking,
a beacon blazing,
brightness adorning.
ascending the skies,
a blinding surprise,
in a child's eyes.
i caught mine from "poppy"
or is that "tuppence" or "sorceress",
all the same thing to me,
but i think it's one of the best bugs to have.
bryan.
