GOD SENT ME AN ANGEL

God sent me an Angel
He knew I could not see
To help me, set me free

God sent me an Angel
He saw I was alone
To help me, guide me home

God sent me an Angel
He saw I was confused
I did not have to choose

God sent me an Angel
A thing I never knew
When God sent me an Angel
That Angel was in you

Quite beautiful, reflecting as it does, things that happen to us and others, in the world around us.

Write on, Fearless

Like it very much, powerful sentiment.

Sould suggest removing the third line in each stanza, for me the repetition simply in the first line would work... just a suggestion.

Look forward to more.

Carlton,

This is a very strong piece in its simplicity, powerful. Like angels.

I look forward to reading more.

In the second to last stanza, did you mean choose, or chose?

Love and peace,

saz

Thanks all for the reviews. First time of writing for many years.
Not sure about the third line repetition, Walrus, I think the third stanza would particularly miss it; depends on your inflection at the time I suppose. Yes Saz, I did mean choose; must learn to be less reliant on MS Spell checkers!
Thanks again, more to come

O.K Walrus, have tried it out without the repetition, and now agree. First piece written and all that, so thanks for your input.
Carlton.
