More Miniwords
Posted: 17 October 2004 Word Count: 39 Summary: Another collection of Miniwords. These are not Haikus, although occasionally one might turn out quite unintentionally, to be a Haiku. The form is nine words in total, three lines of three words each. As there are no titles to these pieces the words must be descriptive enough to tell the reader what the subject matter is. Try it, it's fun.

Hi Poems, these are great! I love them. I am desperate to try some but I'm busy with another exercise at the moment and I must be focused! I'm going to do some very soon though!
Excellent.

Thanks Joan for your comments, but do you know what each piece of work represents? (no prizes, sorry).

By the way, good luck with your own project.

It's such an inspired idea :-)
By the way, I love the word gossamer and used it myself in a haiku experiement recently! It sounds so lovely and so descriptive! Anyway, I will get back to you re. the first one. I want to get this :-)

I agree with Mr Poemsgalore, these are very much like crossword clues but prettier and much more poetic!

Actually I thought the second one was a yoyo.

I thought butterfly but the 'honey dripped' made me think of bee and 'gossamer' it's wings....

Mr Poemsgalore thought bee too, but it is butterfly. The honey reference is probably wrong as butterflies eat nectar - but that would have made it too easy. Well done, there are more for a later date.

Joanie, I never thought of a yoyo, but I can see why you did, very clever.

Very good! No, honey dipped made perfect sense and sounded good too! More more more, these are fun!
