I am a Winnow so sleek and tall
am i to trounce them when i fall
against the tress of burnt umber i shall sing
until verilly i shall take to wing
with a wombat that straddles my brock
am i to end up deep down in shock

Akrim welcome to WW.

This I read through several times and I like it very much.
Much like a past or a future,
a life beyond to a world of fantasy,or the past to a beginning of time.

Loved how you used the colour of burnt umber,as it's one I use a lot in my paintings.

Well done

xx Alice

Hi Akrim. I enjoyed your poem. It reminded me of the poems of Mervyn Peake.

Welcome to WW

Akrim

A gentle stroll through a future past. Nice one.
