You're all flashers,
standing there,
head in the air,
flashing what you think I care.

Your arms spread out
as you give me a shout
to what flash
really rather rash.

Smiles on faces
showing all graces
you stamp
then show me your feet.

Cost daddy a mint
flashing shoes I think
now I know
Your Daddy is skint.

£50 a pair
shocking,who cares,
All 3 are happy
even the one in a nappy.

New choo's nanna he chatter
run round the room in a clatter
flashing all to see
at the moment it's me.

Like it! Great to subvert expectations - first few lines one thinks of a group of men in dirty macs and then thankfully transpires they are happy children. Nice twist Stan!

Alice, isn't it great that you can capture an ordinary but special moment like this by writing a poem? Good to have to read later and bring back the memories.
