BUTTERFLY KISS

Where would I be if you hadn't been beside me?
following a dream I couldn't see,
holding my outstretched hand to touch you
carressing a cheek that flutters my heart through.

Tasting a tear thats gone astray
like a butterfly kiss just a brief touch,
didn't think I asked for much
only knew you cared.

A lovely little vignette; very tender and true.

Mike many thanks for your comments.
I think a butterfly kiss never happens now.
Too full on with a passions that lasts 5 minutes.

Alice,

I do enjoy your poems. They are crafted and wordsmithed. I think I more enjoy poems with concrete lanuauage and images. This is strong though.
