You think you're standing on a bed of roses
instead a carpet of thorns,
nothing is perfect,love is complicated
easy?it's not plain sailing.
Struggle with lifes highway of passion
battle through the standard of life,
at the end of the day all is real
love and emotions are what you feel,
till the day you die.

An unforgiving piece - a touch of cynicism/delusion at the beginning ending with the hard slap of reality. But I guess the alternative would be numbness and is not a realistic or indeed desirable alternative... a luta continua.

The young think love is a merry go round and keeps up the fun and passion.
It just developes into a lasting romance for most of us.
