Inside the walls,
of muscled halls,
she screams,
she cries,
she burns
to be set free.

For his desire,
she does perspire,
so weak,
so tired,
so tender
to a lover’s touch.

A long sweet kiss,
for her to miss,
so dear,
so true,
so far
away from her.

Rai....like a waiting game. Unsure of them, unsure of ourselves.

I loved the image of the heart in the first two lines and the bitter truth of unrequited love in the last two. And though she 'screams' and 'cries' and 'burns' there's a swing of a rhythm to this... Kind regards, Nikki
