As you weep

Feet faltering
at the edge
of something
deep.

Sleep
alluding eyes
so needing restful
peace.

Heartbeats
in random
time,
never mine to keep.

Warmth
of love
and longing
grapple fiercely
as you weep.

Hi Bobo.

This piece has a very nice and crisp 'complete' feel, although I confess I'm not sure if I understood it ;)

Hi there Andy - it's about the paradoxical nature of love and the fear of losing that love...

BoBo I thought a very sad and melancholic poem in fact I thought when I first read it i had images of a lost love but due to death and the ability only to experience that love in memories.

up to your usual high standard

take care

Bobo, sad poem and full of emotion.
To love and lost is hard to bare.

To love and nearly lose is worth a fight to get it back.

Take care.

Hmmm, interesting read - surely being in love should be a place void of fear?

Thought provoking Bobo.
