she stood by him until the platform fell,
she kissed him as if it were the last,
but when she awoke, she was alone.

Rai, your work gets better and better, your voice is maturing, gaining in confidence with every piece you post. This is like an arrow through clear blue sky - simple, direct, yet deadly. As Fearless says, write on.
